In retrospect, this moment always seemed to be the same. It was much like a repetition of a night which was always quiet and where I was alone with no one in the streets. My series of photographs is a documentation of feelings that I repetitiously experienced during a period of three months in a strange home and a strange environment. The challenge would have been to dare to wander out into the night and explore the suburb of a big city. I didn’t have the courage. I felt small. Instead, I just mooted by myself and tried to feel at home. As I returned, I still looked through a glass.
